DESCRIPTION
Bronze edition of the 13th work from the series “Weekly Sculpture”, created since 2020. The motif of this work is Gardenia and Rooster, a work by Ito Jakuchu. Edition 1/7 Artist: Ryo Hagiwara Born in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture in 1985. Since being a student at the Department of Sculpture, Tokyo University of the Arts, he has consistently applied 3DCG to create sculptures mainly made of metal. Since 2020, he has been using 3D printing technology, which is used in a variety of fields, to explore the nature and values of modernist sculptures that pursue sculptural qualities. A new form is created by the aesthetic sense of cutting down to express the essence of the object using only the minimum elements.
